Just Another Saturday???

Sometimes the most lovely things happen when least expected. I'd planned my early morning errands, well, as much as I plan anything! A stop here, a stop there, before returning home to a book I hope to finish before the day is over.

I was on my first errand, the one I thought would take a few short minutes. And it was there that I saw a very special person, a person I feel honored to know. Such joy, such pleasure!!! All else went by the wayside during the time we were together. The warm feelings inside me belied the cold temperatures outdoors. Goodbye's were said way too soon, or so it seemed.

And thus, I returned home to my book. The other errands? Oh, they can wait. Seeing you again, my friend, made my day complete! (And I with an idiot grin, even now at the memory).

It was wonderful to see you again, dear one. Let's not wait so long to meet once more.
