I made it

I'm deviating a bit on my blog this weekend. Decided to use it as a journal of sorts to talk about my roadtrip to Duluth.

I arrived in Duluth (Minnesota that is. I know there is another Duluth that hats been in the papers and news lately, but I'm NOT the runaway bride).LOL

Anyhow, I arrived a few hours ago. I'd never driven up here before and I made it in one hour 50 minutes. It's 156 miles from my house. I think pretty good time, especially on a Friday.

Staying at a Comfort Inn. Yup! Been in the pool and back to my room. Oh, guess what? They have windows in the room that one can actually open!! And I have it open as wide as it will go. It's not warm here, but I love the cool breeze.

Tomorrow is the tour of Glensheen Mansion. I'm looking forward to that.
